Call For Papers: Regional Conference on Environmental Management (RCEM) 2018

Background

Continuous exploitation of resources and unabated industrialization has made a tremendous influence locally and regionally. It had pushed up sustainability issues to new heights. New technologies and better information flows have inadvertently encouraged even more exploitation of the natural environment which directly and indirectly held a close link to humans’ livelihood. This applies to the developed as well as developing countries. In such a condition stakeholders engaging in sustainability issues are facing new problems, and the task has never been challenging. While traditional approach will continue to be employed, future research and practice on this increasingly complex issue will only be meaningful if stakeholders in this field are equipped with better knowledge and tools. New and multi-disciplinary methods have to be employed, better strategies have to be applied and new technologies have to be invented. This conference is aimed at bringing together stakeholders, researchers, and those in support of sustainability agendas to discuss the latest development in the ways in which our planet is being managed, and to chart future strategies in dealing with the changing conditions.

Objectives

The conference is aimed at achieving the following objectives:
